Privacy policy
This policy explains how we process the personal data of people who visit www.dandi.media, write to us or book a consultation, under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003.
Data controller

What data we process and why
- Browsing data (IP address, browser, time of access): used to run the website and protect it from abuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in the security of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Contact requests through the contact form, email or WhatsApp: we use the data you send us to reply. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Booking and payment of consultations through YouCanBook.me and Stripe: we use your name, contact details and booking details to arrange and hold the consultation, and payment data for invoicing. We do not store your card details. Legal bases: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) and tax obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
- Visitor statistics through Google Analytics: only if you accept analytics cookies in the banner (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Providing your data is optional, but without the necessary data we cannot reply to you or hold the consultation.
Who receives the data
The data are processed by the controller and, on its behalf, by providers that use them only to deliver their services: the website’s hosting provider, with servers in the European Union, YouCanBook.me (bookings), Stripe (payments) and Google (statistics). We do not sell or share your data with third parties for commercial purposes.
Some of these providers are based outside the European Union. Transfers take place on the basis of an adequacy decision of the European Commission, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework to which Google adheres, or of the standard contractual clauses approved by the Commission.
How long we keep the data
- Contact requests that do not lead to an engagement: up to 12 months.
- Data relating to consultations and engagements: for the duration of the relationship and then for 10 years, for tax obligations and to protect our rights.
- Browsing data: for as long as needed for the security of the website.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to access, correct or erase your data, restrict its processing, object to processing based on legitimate interest, receive your data in a readable format (portability) and withdraw your consent, without affecting processing carried out before the withdrawal (Arts. 15-22 GDPR). If you believe the processing breaches data protection law, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian supervisory authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, or with the supervisory authority of the EU country where you live or work.
Cookies
Cookies are small files that a website stores on your device. We use:
- Technical cookies, needed for the website to work and to remember your cookie choices. They do not require consent.
- Analytics cookies from Google Analytics, to learn in aggregate form how many people visit the website and which pages they read. We set them only if you consent.
- Third-party cookies linked to content from other services shown on the website, such as YouTube videos. We set them only if you consent.
On your first visit, the banner lets you accept, reject or choose which cookies to enable. Closing the banner or continuing to browse does not count as consent. You can change your choices at any time through the “Cookie & Privacy Policy” link at the bottom of every page, or delete cookies from your browser settings.
