We’ll be at the Berlinale from February 11th to 17th, 2026. And this time we’re not just going to watch films (though that’s still the best part).
Claudia Roggero and Donato Di Pelino, the studio’s founders, will bring some projects we’re developing and want to meet producers, directors, and other industry professionals to discuss co-productions and concrete opportunities.
What We’re Bringing to Berlin
This year we have a particular focus on Romania. Over the past few months we’ve built solid relationships with Romanian producers, and we genuinely believe that Eastern Europe is the future for independent filmmakers with contained budgets but high ambitions. Romania offers serious incentives, skilled crew, and competitive costs. And we have the right connections.
But we’re not just talking about Eastern Europe. We also have an all-Italian project that’s particularly close to our hearts and that we’d like to grow through the right partnerships. We can’t say too much yet, but if you work in documentary or independent cinema, let’s talk.
Why We’re Coming
Of course, we hope to find new clients. It would be strange to say otherwise. But the truth is we’re coming mainly to build relationships and develop our projects. DANDI.media is not a traditional law firm waiting for contracts to review. We want to be part of the creative process from the beginning. We want to help create stories, not just protect them legally.
We believe an entertainment lawyer should understand cinema, not just contracts. They need to know the market, the festivals, the financing mechanisms. They need to know how an international co-production works not just on paper, but in daily practice. And above all, they need to believe in the projects they handle.
