DANDI.media brings two Italian film projects to Berlinale EFM 2026 seeking international co-production partners

Rome, January 27, 2026 – DANDI.media, a boutique law firm specializing in entertainment law and European co-productions, announces its presence at Berlinale EFM 2026 (February 13-16) as legal agent for Doppio Nodo Double Bind to present two ambitious film projects seeking international partners.

Projects in Development

ANIMAL RESISTANCE directed by Marco Serrecchia and co-written with Silvana Tamma, is a visionary cinematic work exploring the relationship between humans and animals across four historical eras. From the trial of insects in 1587, through Descartes’ theories, to the escapes of Ken the orangutan from Rome Zoo in the 2000s, the film tells stories of animal resistance without dialogue, letting the animals’ actions “speak” for themselves. The project has already secured €13,000 from MIC and requires €50,000 to complete its €76,000 development budget.

“Il Sogno del Cielo” (Always the Sky) is an Italy-Kenya co-production telling the extraordinary story of Luigi Broglio, the visionary engineer who brought Italy into space in the 1960s. With the Malindi launch base in Kenya and the San Marco satellite, Broglio made Italy the third country in the world to launch a satellite into orbit. The project, already selected at MIA 2025, has received MIC development funding and is currently in the research phase.

The Strategic Partnership

DOPPIO NODO DOUBLE BIND founded by Marco Serrecchia , Raha Shirazi and Michelangelo Frammartino, has established itself in the international auteur cinema landscape with “Il Buco”, winner of the Special Jury Prize at the Venice Film Festival 2021.

DANDI.media, led by attorneys Claudia Roggero and Donato Di Pelino, brings to Doppio Nodo its consolidated experience in European co-productions, particularly with Eastern European markets, and its distinctive “Creative Co-Pilot Method”: an approach that integrates legal counsel from the earliest development stages, not just during the contractual phase.

Meeting in Berlin

During EFM, DANDI.media on behalf of Doppio Nodo will meet with German, French, Italian and international producers, distributors and financiers to develop strategic partnerships on both projects.
